Implementation: Environment Design
Most of the environment was created within one small room in Unity. For optimisation purposes, it was important to ensure that the area wasn’t over-populated. It was also important that the area be as aesthetically pleasing as possible to further immerse the use in this world.
The environments were built initially without walls. The floor was laid down first, while any additional flooring needed would be added as I went. Each object was imported individually and placed carefully to feel convincing and realistic.
